NotesCompared interactions between seagrasses and ghost shrimp in two temperate estuaries, Netarts Bay in the U.S. and Papanui Inlet in New Zealand. In Netarts Bay, the presence of ghost shrimp did not disturb seagrass: even new plantings in established ghost shrimp areas thrived. In New Zealand, neither the ghost shrimp nor the seagrass transplanted well, and neither type of new population was able to be established.
