| Notes | This report has a nice table of commercial bay clam statistics for 1970-1994. Netarts Bay was once again the major producer of mudshrimp for the baitfish industry in 1994, with 24,956 lbs. for 99% of the total harvest. Native oysters were planted in Netarts Bay in 1993 and were doing well in test plots in 1994. The hope is that they will start producing naturally. |
