Notes | This report was intended as an internal document for Shellfish Program staff. "Of particular interest was the first verified harvest of geoduck clams in Netarts Bay. The 1984 brood year clam could possibly be progency from 32 adult Puget Sound clams planted in the bay in 1972." (p.3). Netarts Bay led the state in mud shrimp harvested for the baitfish industry, provinding nearly 50% of the state harvest. 60,000 gallons of sewage were spilled into Netarts Bay in 1987. |
