NotesDiscusses acclimitization of hatchery salmon to seawater, effects of different substrates on salmon fry, use of gravel incubators, and estimated marine survival. Much work was conducted at the Swanson Aquicultural Research Station in Netarts Bay. In 1968, construction began on this experimental salmon hatchery, which was built on a seven-acre site donated to OSU by Mr. and Mrs. Victor A. Swanson.
