NotesBy the 1960s, before the Marine Mammal Protection Act, the number of Stellar or northern sea lions and harbor seals were greatly reduced in Oregon. This study documents the numbers of these marine mammals and where they were found. Maps of haul-out areas are given. Includes statistics on bounty payments from 1925 to the mid-1960s.
