NotesThe purpose of this report is to review: ( 1) the current oyster regulations in Tillamook County; (2) problems associated wtth thess regulatlons; and,l(3) amount of grounds claimed for oyster production in Tillamook County and claimants." (Introduction) At the time the report was written, Tillamook County oyster lands fell under the County's jurisdiction, and the lack of oversight by the State had created problems including the ability of a few people to monopolize claims without actually growing anything, and the potential for the introduction of pests. Includes two hand-drawn maps of Tillamook and Netarts Bays showing oyster growing areas.
