NotesThis report provides a valuable look at contemporary erosion on selected locations on the Oregon coast. The report for the Netarts littoral cell has ominous warnings. “Unless conditions change soon, continued erosion along Netarts Spit will lead to spit breaching and could eventually impact bay hydrodynamics.” (p.40) The effects of the 2009-2010 El Niño are noted.
