NotesThis report, prepared for NOAA’a National Marine Mammal Laboratory, documents a three-year (1980-1982) study of pinnipeds in Washington and the northern Oregon coast: their distribution, seasonal movements, feeding habits and interactions with commercial fisheries. Techniques used included tagging animals, fishnet analysis, necropsies, aerial surveys and scat analysis. Documentation includes descriptions of selected harbors and maps showing seasonal and yearlong haul-out sites.
